As some of you will already know, there’s an online comic called Unshelved—”the only daily comic strip set in a public library”—put out by Gene Ambaum and Bill Barnes. On Sundays they do the Unshelved Book Club, a full-page strip, in color, in which the Unshelved characters talk about a book they’ve read recently. Previous Book Club picks have included Nicola Griffith’s Always and Carlos Ruiz Zafón’s The Shadow of the Wind. Last Sunday, Bad Monkeys got the honor. This is definitely one of the cooler nods of recognition I’ve received so far.
